Digital printing for transparent welded PVC packaging

All of Design Duval’s creativity in designing and manufacturing this welded PVC packaging with digital print

For this packaging containing cosmetic products, Design Duval designed a case made of two different types of PVC sheets which are welded together: a transparent PVC gives a clear front view on the contents, while a back silver coated PVC enhances the products, making the print easier to read and respecting the client’s graphic guidelines.

The design of the packaging is clever and inexpensive: The information was only printed on the transparent PVC, but as it goes all the way round, the information can be read from both sides. A closing flap on the back joins the sheets together.

Digital printingmade customization possible (language versions, different references…) while preventing additional set-up costs for each version.

This cosmetic case was conceived and manufactured entirely by Design-Duval. It is made of welded PVC. The two different materials (transparent Crystal PVC and matt metallic silver PVC) were cut and welded with HF in our premises.

The high-resolution digital UV printing was also performed by Design Duval. VOC-free printing inks were used, in accordance with the EN71 toy standard.
