A customized and adaptable display for tile samples
Challenge for this project was to present a very large single ceramic tile in a very elegant fashion while making it transportable.
Our client was quickly seduced by our proposal: the choice of a portfolio-like shape, perfectly suited to its audience (architects) and totally adaptable, as the content can easily be swapped.
Meant to carry a large, heavy, full-mass ceramic sample, the sample case was made of PVC. This very solid material has been welded around an MDF plate to ensure optimal stability. We chose a top range PVC with a sophisticated look. The embossed markings on the top of the suitcase emphasize this aspect.
Inside the presentation and sample suitcase, a thick foam on the transparent rigid PVC bottom houses and protects the tile sample.
For transport, we recommended the addition of a high-quality stitched leatherette handle: strong, chic and easy to hold.
The case closes with a flap held by two velcros, perfectly securing the tile sample.
